I’d like to give some insight into the life of a Professional Photographer and the easiest way I can do that is to discuss some of the project’s i’ve worked on.

The Managing Director of Gatton Drum rang me, he wanted some images that matched the quality of his product.  He had a tight turn around time and needed the images done as soon as possible.

Now i’ll be honest, our studio is designed for portrait photography or product photography and the thought of fitting in a full size drum kit left us with a some work to do.

That evening I converted the studio, made some alterations to ensure the studio was fit for purpose.

The shoot was arranged for early the following day, both the Managing Director and the Drummer he sponsored arrived.

At Photos by Design, we offer 1/2 day and full day rates for shooting and then an hourly rate for editing, if required by our client.  This ensures the client get the right service for them.  It took approximately 2 hours to run through all the different arrangements for the kit and then approximately 2-3 hours post production to ensure the images where perfect.

Turn around time was 1 days, as the images needed to be in print by the weekend.  We are always happy to deliver a quick turn around if our clients request it, if possible we will achieve it.

As you will see from the final poster and flyer below, Craig, the Managing Director was fully satisfied with the images we produced.
